Melissa Ricks feels at home with Paul Jake Castillo’s family

Melissa Ricks and Paul Jake Castillo obviously enjoy each other’s company as seen from their regular exchange of tweets and photos of their out of town trips. As Melissa would say, it’s the first time that she really felt so loved by her special someone. “Ngayon ko lang naramdaman yung pagmamahal kuno. Wow, cheesy! Yung pagaalaga niya sa akin, anong gusto kong gawin, anong gusto kong puntahan at kainin [yun ang iniisip niya]. I am spoiled a little bit. Baby na baby,” Melissa said.

The 22-year-old actress also enjoyed getting to know Paul Jake’s family especially when she attended his sister’s wedding in Cebu a few weeks ago. If things push through, she’ll be able to introduce Paul Jake and his mom to her family in the US this November. Asked if it’s going to be a “pamanhikan” of sorts, Melissa was quick to say that getting married is still far from their minds at the moment. “Ay grabe, advance naman! Hindi naman. Visit lang. Hi-hello. Kung hindi mauudlot yung bakasyon ha. Magkasama kami ni Paul Jake at ng mom niya na pupunta ng States. My mom is there so we’re going to visit her.”

Melissa further shared that what’s important is that she and Paul Jake are happy in their relationship. “[Kung sakaling magpropose siya?] Hindi ko alam. Ayoko naman mag-anticipate kung anong mangyayari. Basta one day at a time. Hindi nagmamadali. We’re just enjoying the moment, doing fun things together. I am happy lang.”
