It looks like Coco Martin is on his way to be a bankable star just like John Lloyd Cruz with the former’s growing number of projects to date. Like John Lloyd, Coco has the ability to express his emotions through his eyes alone during dramatic scenes. He can also make a love team work with different leading ladies. And with his romantic comedy movie Born To Love You, there’s a chance that his team-up with Star Power champ Angeline Quinto can be a box office success just like John Lloyd’s tandem with Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo.
But when told about such similarities, Coco said that he’d rather not be compared with the three-time Box Office King or any artist for that matter.
Coco also refused to be pressured about the fact that Born To Love You is his make or break mainstream movie.
In the meantime, Coco is very grateful because Walang Hanggan remains as the number one top-rating teleserye on primetime TV. It even scored 41 % based on the Kantar Media-TNS National Household Ratings.
