Jason Gainza, at the sidelines of the 7th Star Magic Ball held Saturday
night at Fairmont Hotel in Makati City.Gainza brought up the 25-year-old actress' "morning sickness" in explaining her absence from the event.
Asked how Cantiveros is dealing with her pregnancy, Gainza said, "Sabi niya, 'yun, nahihirapan siya. Parang suka nang suka. Tinatanong niya misis ko. Okay lang naman siya. Sabi ko malalagpasan niya 'yun," he said.
Gainza is married and with two children.
Cantiveros has refused to address the reported pregnancy since it was "confirmed" early this week by "Showbiz Inside Report" co-host Ogie Diaz in a post on his official website.
Diaz said the actress, at the time of the report's publication, was two months pregnant with her first child with boyfriend and fellow housemate Jason Francisco.
The celebrity couple rose to fame in 2009 as fellow housemates on "Pinoy Big Brother," where they started forming what would become a steady relationship outside the famous yellow house.
