Empress reveals the qualities she looks for in an ideal guy

After starring in the suspense-horror film Amorosa: The Revenge earlier this year, Empress is again busy on new movie projects like the upcoming Metro Manila Film Fest entry Shake, Rattle, and Roll 14 and another Star Magic film with the working title Tuhog which is set for release early next year. The new project also stars Eugene Domingo and Enchong Dee.

“Sobrang iba ito. Ngayon ko lang ito gagawin sa buong buhay ko so excited ako at siyempre yun din yung dapat niyong abangan. Nakasama ko na si Ate Uge sa Shake, Rattle, and Roll dati. Siguro mga halos yung ibang cast nakasama ko na pero yung si Enchong ngayon ko lang ulit siya makakasama after ng mahabang panahon nagkasama ulit kami. Dati madami sa About Ur Luv, Lastikman, at BFF, madami so medyo naghiwalay kami ng konti tapos ngayon magkasama ulit kami,” she told Push.com.ph.

On the personal front, Empress said she did not make plans to go out-of-town for the just-concluded long weekend. “Walang mga planong lalabas o ganun kasi si Mama hindi niya ako pinapayagan lumabas pag ganun so siguro kasama ko lang yung pamilya ko, relatives, sa bahay,” she said.

When it comes to her personal life, the 19-year-old actress said she is happy to be single for now. “Wala, wala eh. Walang matino, chos (laughs). Hindi wala pa lang talagang makita. Siyempre gusto ko naman yung serious, ayoko namang mag-ri-risk ako na ma-try for the first time pero ano naman pala, ako lang yung seryoso, parang ganun. Walang nagpaparamdam pero siyempre merong nanligaw naman sa akin (laughs). Pero wala, hindi tumatagal eh,” she admitted.

Empress said that her relationship with perennial love team partner Ejay Falcon has always been nothing more but a close friendship and he has never courted her. She also revealed that they are going to start doing separate projects by next year. “Ayun, hindi na kami magkasama. Pero hindi, friends lang talaga kami,” she said.

The pretty actress said she has specific qualities she looks for in her first boyfriend. “Siyempre ang hinahanap ng lahat ng babae yung mabait, gentleman, caring, lahat eh, loving, mabait sa pamilya, mahal ang pamilya, may respeto, understanding, yung mga ganun, the usual. Ngayon naman mas okay naman ako na wala namang love life kasi okay naman yung trabaho ko, sunod-sunod naman yung takbo ng career ko so sa ngayon masasabi ko na eto muna, pero kung may dumating, tingan din natin,” she shared.
